Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Five Panelists, One Size Chart and a 1–3 cm Tolerance

We put five colleagues into the same tee across four colorways and logged the range instead of a verdict. The 1–3 cm tolerance, the raglan seam and the $6.87 price, checked against our bench sheets.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Five Panelists, One Size Chart and a 1–3 cm Tolerance Nota de la prueba práctica 4.0 / 5Nota editorial 4.0 / 5

We ordered the Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection through the Kakobuy agent — Cherry Blossom 07 in black, 14 in white, 27 in grey and 04 in burgundy, in sizes M and L — and then handed the parcel to five colleagues with different builds. The goal was not consensus. Buyer reports on this brand conflict loudly on sizing, so a single "fits true to size" line would have been worse than useless.

What we actually did at the bench

Each tee was photographed sealed, then opened, weighed on a calibrated parcel scale and measured flat twice with the tape photographed in frame. Where the first and second pass disagreed by more than 5 mm we measured a third time and published the second set. Every figure below comes from our own bench sheet. The agent listing did not carry a per-colorway measurement chart we could trace, so we have not reprinted any chart numbers — only what the tape read.

The bench sheet, sizes M and L

The spread between the three M colorways was 1.0 cm at the chest and 1.0 cm in body length; between the two L colorways it was 0.5 cm. That is inside the listing's stated 1–3 cm tolerance, and it is tighter than the buyer complaints about this brand would lead you to expect from an individual parcel. The 0.21–0.23 kg packed weight is consistent with the 230 gsm double-yarn cotton the description claims — a mid-weight knit, not a tissue-thin one.

Why the tolerance matters more than the label

A 1–3 cm tolerance sounds like housekeeping until you convert it. Three centimetres of chest ease is the difference between a relaxed drape and a tee that pulls across the shoulder blades. Because we measured five garments and not five labels, we can say what the tolerance actually did here: it moved the fit within a size, not between sizes. The M and L chest figures sit roughly 3 cm apart, which means the top of the M range can overlap the bottom of the L range. If you are between sizes, that overlap is where the decision lives.

Five panelists, one size, five answers

    PanelistBuildUsual labelWoreNote on the range

P2178 cm, 74 kgMMClosest to the intended loose fit
P3181 cm, 82 kgM/LM and LM read fitted, L read correct — the overlap zone
P4190 cm, 95 kgXLLWanted more body length, not more chest
P5165 cm, 58 kgS/XSMWearable as an oversized layer, long in the body

Recorded as a range rather than a verdict: four of five panelists found a wearable fit in M or L, but only two of those five would have picked that label blind. The tall panelist sized on length, not width, which is the single most common mistake with a loose-fit drop-shoulder-adjacent cut like this.

Seams, raglan and the printed finish

Raglan sleeves were confirmed in the flat-lay and on the garment: the seam runs from underarm to collar with no puckering at the cap, and it sits flat enough under an open jacket. Print height varied by 1.5 cm across the five tees, all of it absorbed inside the raglan seam line rather than crowding it. Under a 5500K light box the print read matte with clean edges and no visible haloing on the black bases; the white base showed a faint ghost of the print through the knit at the chest when held to the lamp, which is normal for a single-layer print on white cotton and invisible when worn.

"You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick." — an ASSC owner on r/antisocialsocialclub

Washing, drying and the honest downsides

We washed one tee cold, by hand, and air-dried it flat. The print survived unchanged and the body length moved under 5 mm, which is measurement noise on a cotton knit. The brand-specific caution in the owner reports is heat, not water, and we would not gamble a $6.87 tee against it. The other documented complaints are worth stating plainly: some buyers call these thin, cheap-feeling blanks with a screen print, and the brand has a long, well-documented history of slow handling and shipping that predates the 2023 logistics reorganisation. Neither complaint was contradicted by our parcel, but neither was disproven by it either — one order is one order.

How we would order it next time

    • Pick the colorway first, then read the size against the measured chest you already own — the dropdown has 60-plus options and the cherry-blossom numbering runs roughly 01–29 across black, white, grey and burgundy bases.
    • If you are between M and L, choose on body length. The chest range overlaps; the length does not.
    • Ask the agent for the QC images before the parcel leaves, and keep the cold-wash rule from day one.

At $6.87 the tee is priced like a blank and prints like a streetwear piece, which is the whole argument for it. The argument against it is that you cannot reorder blind — not because our five tees disagreed with each other, but because the label alone never told us what the tape did.

    Veredicto editorial
A genuinely cheap, mid-weight loose raglan tee with a tight colorway-to-colorway spread in our parcel. Fit conflict is real but lives inside the 1–3 cm tolerance, so order from measurements, not labels.
    Para quién es adecuado
Buyers who will measure a tee they already own, choose the colorway from the 01–29 cherry-blossom run, and cold-wash it.
    Quién debería evitarlo
Anyone who wants to reorder by label alone, tumble-dries their tees, or needs the parcel to arrive on a tight schedule.
    Lo que funciona
    • Chest and length across our five tees sat within 1 cm per size — inside the stated tolerance.
    • 230 gsm double-yarn cotton claim is consistent with 0.21–0.23 kg packed weight.
    • Raglan seam lies flat with no cap puckering; print edges clean under raking light.
    A tener en cuenta
    • Owners report prints crack and peel with dryer heat; hand-wash and air-dry only.
    • Brand carries documented long handling times and thin-blank criticism from buyers.
    • No traceable per-colorway measurement chart in the listing, so blind reordering is risky.
